We will post headlines, links and documents here that YOU should be aware of and invite you to get involved!
Wolf, Wagner feud over whether opioid emergency violates gun rights
As you know by now, Governor Wolf declared PA in a state of emergency to address the heroin and opioid epidemic. This triggers a few statutes in the law, one of which is affected is the Open Carry Law. While we scrambled to see just what the fallout would be, we received the actual declaration along with the areas of the law it effects, specifically you can not open carry any firearm on public streets or on public property during a state of emergency. Since that time we received this quote from the Wolf administration "A declaration specifically has no effect on people with a concealed firearms license, someone using a firearm with an active hunting license or someone open carrying a firearm if actively engaged in self-defense"
If you are good with that statement you can stop reading now and go on about your lives. Sen. Scott Wagner (PA Gov candidate) has put the spotlight on the situation stating that increased effort towards the drug crisis could have been handled a different way but he does commend Wolf for finally stepping up. We now have a memorandums released from Sen Delozier linked here and from Rep Dowling linked here. These are sent out looking for sponsorship on bills they want to introduce in the near future. Due to the nature of the conflict, the sooner the better. We will have a full report on this at the next Susquehanna County Federation meeting. The report given at the last club meeting is posted below.

A New Beginning
Welcome to the new home of New Milford Rifle and Pistol Club's in Cyber Space. In order to promote the activities and increase participation and communication in the club I have resurrected the website. Things have come a long way since the last updates were done in 1999, back then I was doing most of the HTML by code. It was simple and effective but took some time. What we have now is still going to be simple and effective but one heck of a lot easier on me. Stay tuned over the next few weeks as I gather information from each of the teams to post. We have a lot going on at the club and it may be a mess for a while so enjoy! (Picture is a satellite view of the club grounds)
